Consignment Table Contract Seller # _______ The Consignment Table offers individuals or companies with a limited number of items to sell those items without having to rent a booth space and/or stay the entire day. This service requires a nominal fee. The Consignment Table is primarily a courtesy offered to the community to provide a one time or short term assistance as an outlet to sell used computer equipment. The number of times individuals or companies may use the Consignment Table is therefore limited to 4 times during any 12 month period. Furthermore, the Consignment Table reserves the absolute right to refuse anyone use of the Consignment Table for any reason, based solely on the discretion of the Consignment Table Representatives. It is the responsibility of the consignee to deliver the items they want to sell to the Consignment Table Area. Consignees are also required to pay the regular admission ticket price for entry into the Computer Fair in addition to any consignment fees. Consignees agree to pick up unsold items and/or their money by 4:30 pm Sunday or 4:30 pm on Saturday for single day show events. No attempt will be made to contact owners of unsold merchandise, or to ship unsold goods. FAILURE TO RETRIEVE YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS BY THE DESIGNATED TIME MAY RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF THOSE ITEMS. There will be a 5% non-refundable advance placement fee for each item to consign for sale, based on the seller’s lowest acceptable sale price. The advance placement fee is not refundable under any circumstances, whether the item sells or not. The fee for sold items is 15% of the accepted selling price. Once an item is sold, the advance placement fee will be deducted from the 15% fee. The minimum advance placement fee is $1.00 and the maximum cumulative fee is $25. However there is no maximum for the 15% actual sales fee. As a guideline for Sellers: It may be unwise to over-price your items for sale. Experience has shown that if the asking price is too high, it just won’t sell. This results in wasted table space and is unfair to other genuinely earnest sellers and buyers who have come to the Consignment Table in search of “bargains”. The Consignment Table represents a busy retail environment. Consequently, despite our efforts to discourage it, theft does occur occasionally. While we do what we can to prevent theft, however, the Consignment Table IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STOLEN ITEMS. Items offered for sell are expected to be in reasonable working condition unless noted otherwise. Consignees should clearly mark non-working items, “as-is” or “non-working”. The Consignment Table is not to be mistaken for a dumping ground to dispose of USELESS JUNK. Any violation of this rule can result in immediate removal of such items and denial of any further consignment privileges. Please note that as of April 1, 2008, we are no longer accepting used Ink Jet Printers for consignment. The overwhelming proliferation and general un-reliability of used ink jet printers renders them un-sellable at our venue, they take up entirely too much valuable table space and are virtually worthless. Items for sale at the Consignment Table may neither be counterfeit nor stolen. Any Items found to be in fact counterfeit or stolen, the consignee will be barred from ever using the Consignment Table again and representatives will assist law enforcement agents if and when asked to do so. The procedure for consigning items for sale is as follows: 1) Read the contract and sign your name 2) List items for sale on a separate sheet showing asking price and minimum acceptable price 3) Pay the non-refundable advance placement fee 4) Place a price tag or sticker on items for sale 5) Items may not be placed on table for sale until steps 1-4 are completed The Consignment Table is also NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BAD CHECKS.
